Our advice covers a broad range of issues, including the nature and scope of directors' duties (particularly following the introduction of the Companies Act 2006), the drafting and negotiation of service agreements, tailor-made bonus schemes, share option schemes and incentive plans and advising on exit and severance packages (including the timing and wording of both internal and external announcements).
From an employer side, we also advise sole directors of owner-managed businesses and boards of directors, including given them the advice and support necessary to run their businesses successfully and deal effectively and swiftly with boardroom disputes and departures.
We work closely with our corporate team, who have broad experience in all areas of corporate law, including on a multi-jurisdictional basis.
